The Club played in its twelfth Cup Final of the 1990's - a tremendous run. The Thirds were determined to finish the season on a high note after their losing battle against Railway Tavern in the TT Trophy Final the week before.

Playing in Pirton, Steve Baggett's team took the game to Dunstable Drivers right from the start and ran out convincing 4-0 winners. Phil Thompson scored 45 goals in the season, but failed to score in the final.
