The Under Elevens, in their first season with the Club, had missed out on the Division One Championship by a whisker, so were keen to make amends in the Final of the League Cup, played at Ampthill.

In their run to the Final, the Under Elevens had scored twenty goals without conceding one in reply, but they were shocked to find themselves a goal down after just two minutes.

They didn't panic, however, and their superior football told in the end as they ran out 6-1 winners, with goals from Matty Baxter, Danny Butler (2), a free-kick from Jack Mordecai and two from super-sub Ashley Palmer.
